Eyeglass Assistance
Elkhart Lions provides financial assistance to individuals who otherwise do qualify for traditional financial aid for the costs of eye examinations and corrective glasses. To download a copy of an application, click here. |
Eyeglass Collection & Processing
The club collects, cleans, sorts and processes used eyeglasses used by Lions mission groups in Mexico. To see a list of those sites where we maintain collection boxes, click here.

VIP Banquet
Annually the Elkhart lions sponsor an evening out for visually impaired persons. For many, it is one of very few opportunities to get out and socialize with others. Great food, fellowship and entertainment are vital elements of this evening.

Lions Tales Newspaper
The Elkhart Lions began publishing a newspaper in December many years ago and today it is the club's single largest fund raising effort for its service projects.

Coaches Corner (Crying Towel)
Annually we invite local high school basketball coaches to a noon meeting to 'lament' on 'poorly' their respective teams will be in the upcoming season. This Wednesday is our best attended program of the year and frequently sees guests from other local Lions clubs. |
