Plants were all lined up and ready to 'grow' early Saturday morning, just prior to the scheduled pick up time. Sales for this year's sale exceeded $2500!

 

 

Lions Citizenship Award Given to Don Findlay
Lions Award

Local optometrist, Donald C. Findlay, received the Elkhart Lions' Citizenship Award recently. He has been active in many community activities and organizations, most recently helping establish the Heart City Health Center. The dental center at this facility was recently  renamed the Findlay Dental Center. Shown above are Dr. Findlay (left) and Elkhart Lion Bill Cork, member of the Citizenship Committee.

Here's a chance to 'roll up' your sleeves and help area Lions

We are working with Prevent Blindness of Indiana for Kindergarden thru High School Summer School screening in South Bend on July 1st and July 2nd.     Your help is needed for this. This is usually from 8 or 8:30 to around noon time... July 1st is at Madison School on Lafayette Street - by Memorial Hospital in South Bend and on July 2nd at Clay Middle School on Cleveland Rd. betweeen 933 North and Juniper Rd.
